This is the genuine replacment battery for the FDP Pro UHF hand held transceiver, (battery model PB-558L). It is rated at 7.4 Volts 1600mAh, 11.48wh.
The battery simply clips into the body of the transceiver. Lithium ion batteries should never be completely discharged, as this may permananetly damage the recharging capability.
Keep one of the batteries handy as a backup spare to ensure you are never without a working transceiver.
